Much Love
Lady Jane
I apologize that it's been a bit since I last posted things here have been quite upside down. I've been getting ready to move which you all knew. Last weekend while trying to move some things my husband and father in law got into a horrible car accident. (pic of car below) Everyone is alive but they're battered, cut and sore. I'm finally getting to all that has backed up while helping out and taking care of them. New posts will be up soon and I cant wait to see what you all think.

My week so far has held three dif drawing projects getting some attention from me. The line work on the owl one is done and now onto the coloring part. Monday night I tried kale for the first time and liked it pretty good. I can see me eating it more often. I'm starting to think I'd eat anything as long as it had salt, turmeric and cumin on it though. haha Nopales (cactus paddles) was a hit in tofu scramblies last week. I'm on a kick lately where I want to try a few new veg every month. If you have any suggestions drop me a message on the home page! Well that's it for now and I'll post more as things flesh out in the drawings I'm doing.
-Much Love- I had such a great mother's day weekend! We spent some much needed time away overnight from the day to day, stress of moving and parental duties but I'm glad to be back. I miss my baby girl when I'm away. We saw Iron Man 3 and The Great Gatsby both were AMAZING! Loved them. They had great plots, great visuals, great actors.....just GREAT! After watching all the special effects and amazing design work in both flicks I'm soooo inspired to do new work. I feel like I've been refreshed and so full of vision. I'll be spending time tomorrow with my family but I def see a lot more work coming out in a short amount of time....It seems to be either feast or famine when it comes to inspiration.
It's a beautiful day at the ranch. The sun is shining and the breeze is warm. I've spent this week so far doing more packing than anything else. I can't believe how much stuff I fit in a tiny house, especially art supplies! HaHa! I've got so much to do before we're ready to actually move. I'm excited to be in a new place and explore a new state! We are going to a small town but close enough to a city. Louisiana is know for having a rich vibrant culture and I can't wait. I'm going to be looking into renting a space in New Orleans one we get settled so I can sell my art and creations on weekends. If you have any info or advice feel free to comment or message me. -Much Love- I'm still not finished but I want to give you all another little peek! I'm really enjoying the process.
This week I shipped the glasses and worked on the other things I have due dates coming up. I finally got a couple pics off of my camera to post for you too. I'm posting the pic of the bags I sent to the Q Center in Syracuse to help support the LGBTQ youth. They'll be used for the Blowout event (flyer below) as one of the prizes and another for a auction item. The third will be staying at the center and finding a use there. I'm so happy to be able to help in some way and I def hope to donate more things to them in the future. If you'd like to help/donate just contact me and I'll lead you in the right direction or contact: http://www.aidscommunityresources.com/ |
